RIC2D The Research & Innovation Center for Graphene and 2D Materials (RIC2D), was established at Khalifa University in 2022 to advance scientific research, development and commercial deployment of graphene and other layered (2D) materials' technologies through industry and solution focused scientific research and development in the United Arab Emirates. RIC2D, which represents a strategic investment of the government of Abu Dhabi, intends to serve as the keystone of an advanced materials innovation ecosystem in the region.
XPANCEO XPANCEO is a deep tech company that develops an invisible and weightless smart contact lens as the ultimate interface for AI-powered XR computing. Our contact lens reinvents the whole concept of human-technology interaction and redefines the way we experience both real and digital worlds, including social media, content consumption, and gaming. By merging all your gadgets into one, the smart contact lens transforms the everyday into an infinite XR experience, replete with advanced real-time health monitoring and comprehensive practical recommendations, superpowers like night vision and zoom, and cutting-edge privacy and security measures.
GC As pioneers in advanced and 2D materials engineering, Graphene Composites pairs subject matter expertise with proven commercial acumen to help tackle some of the most important challenges we face.
Applying our core expertise in nanotechnology and advanced materials to turn innovative ideas into commercial realities, partnering with the world’s best organisations, brands and manufacturers to bring advanced materials to life.
Levidian Levidian is a British climate tech business that is on a mission to decarbonise the world's hardest to abate sectors. Underpinned by our patented LOOP technology, we offer a unique decarbonisation service that captures the carbon from methane gas and creates a new source of clean hydrogen and net zero graphene - a high-performance material that can be used to significantly enhance the intrinsic characteristics of products in major global industries as far ranging as steel, batteries and petrochemicals. The solution can be deployed anywhere with a methane source and is designed to function as a self-contained modular system that can quickly and easily be retrofitted to existing infrastructure.
Incubation Incubation Alliance is a graphene venture company founded by the CEO Kazuo Muramatsu in 2007 and is based in Kobe, Japan. Since its establishment, we have developed graphene mass production methods using proprietary processes and developed products such as Graphene Flower® which has unique structure, highly oriented graphene block Graphene Flower® BL and graphene-coated carbon fiber cloth Graphene Flower® Cloth. These products have practical applications as heat dissipation components, motor brushes, materials for various types of electrodes and materials for neutron intensification.? We have more than 50 worldwide patents for our developed technologies and products. We are also actively developing alliance with partners in each field based on these proprietary technology.
We attended Graphene conferences consecutively from Graphene2011 to 2016 and participated at the exhibition. We have decided to participate in Graphene2023 after a long time since we have obtained research results in the development of graphene high-intensity neutron material, a project in collaboration with the Japan Atomic Energy Agency and Japan’s largest comprehensive research institute RIKEN. We will make a presentation and participate in the exhibition.
Toptica Founded in 1998 near Munich (Germany), TOPTICA is a global technology leader in high-end laser systems for scientific and industrial applications. With decades of experience in ultra-precise and tunable diode and fiber lasers, we enable cutting-edge research in 2D materials, graphene, semiconductors, and nanophotonics.
At the forefront of spectroscopy, microscopy, and quantum technologies, TOPTICA lasers support key processes in Raman imaging, photoluminescence, pump-probe techniques, and coherent control of 2D materials. Our systems deliver exceptional wavelength coverage, narrow linewidths, and high stability, ideal for resolving delicate optical transitions in atomically thin structures.
From fundamental lab research to scalable manufacturing in materials science and advanced electronics, TOPTICA’s technology bridges the gap between innovation and real-world implementation.
