- PARTNERS -

China International Graphene Industry Union (CIGIU) is an international and non-profit organization with members worldwide including universities, research institutions, internationally recognized & major graphene-domain-focused enterprises, and financial investment groups and associations. China International Graphene Industry Union (CIGIU) has headquarter based in Beijing, China. Based on the China International Graphene Industry Union (CIGIU), the structure of the International Carbon Materials Union (ICMU) have been formed, which stands as an all-encompassing international cooperation institution concentrating on the technological and industrial dialogue within the sphere of carbon materials, principally represented by graphene. The core aim of the union is to create an open, forward-looking platform for carbon material technology and industry, as well as international exchange. In addition, it strives to stimulate scientific and technological research and industrial cooperation while providing a collaborative environment for union members to jointly create and share resources for mutually beneficial and cooperative advancement.
The International Carbon Materials Union (ICMU) is an international collaboration geared towards the industrialization of advanced carbon materials technology. Its central objective is to facilitate an open, forward-thinking platform for the technology and industry of carbon materials. The union's activities span the complete industrial chain of carbon materials and include international academic exchanges, standardization research, achievement transformation, consulting and training, international technology, and trade cooperation.
The Research and Innovation Center on CO2 and Hydrogen (RICH), established in 2019 at Khalifa University, is devoted to deploying effective and innovative solutions for decarbonization and sustainable fuels. RICH is the only dedicated center in the Country, and the first one in the Region, focused on carbon capture, utilization and storage, hydrogen and its derivatives, and sustainable fuels.
RICH collaborates with industrial partners, government agencies, and international research institutions to contribute to the development and deployment of these technologies.
The mission of the RICH Center is to carry out state-of-the-art research and innovation, generate intellectual property, pursue knowledge exchange and transfer, and education in carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and sustainable fuels, to contribute to deploying clean energy and sustainable fuels, achieving net-zero emissions, diversifying the economy of the UAE, and educating future generations.
